Horrible service

If there was a Zero star rating i would definitely give it to Vodacom. My husband and I were paying for a contract which ended and fell into a momth to month for 80Gigs a month. This was too less for us and we called vodacom to get an upgrade with a higher deal. The gentleman we spoke to, told us there was a special offer for us, 200Gigs for R299. We thought it was a great until this month end when we found out nothing of this sort was activated. The worst part of this is to deal with Vodacoms consultants, i have never in my life dealt with such *********** individuals. Top tier incompetency it is so disappointing for a big company like Vodacom not to train their consultants accordingly🤮 We spoke to Busisiwe who could not help us and told us we are not allowed to speak to a manager. When we insisted Aviwe(who i dont even believe is a manager) came on the call as a "Manager" she also could not help because apparently this deal was not done by their region. Which i don't understand, is Vodacom not the same company???????!!!!!!! Why was i routed to a specific region then if i am not gonna get help????!!!!! The call got cut because obviously with all the back and forth we wasted tons of airtime. We called back and spoke to Pretty who told us again that we can't speak to a manager because they are in a meeting(every call center's excuse🙄🙄🙄). My question to her is, Vodacom literally goes into a standstill because managers are in a meeting???!!!! She got upset and told me she is not speaking to me she's speaking to my husband. When i told her that we are both contributing to the contract, so she has no right to tell me that she is not speaking to me, she cut the call on us. This is the kind of service that Vodacom is offering their members. I need someone to call us to sort this issue and no i DO NOT!! Want an agent because they cut the calls on us and tell me they are not speaking to me, the audacity and i am a paying customer. Believe me i will go to the Ombudsman for this and i am not even joking. Also apparently they are not allowed to give us their surnames but when we call back thwy ask for the full names of the people you apoke to and the department, does that even make sense?!!! We are also asked which department, do we work for vodacom? How are we supposed to know that???? You do not even get a reference number, so you end up speaking to different people and have keep repeating the same story to them. What a mess, vodacom is really losing their touch.
