Horrible experience for new fibre installation

The decision to switch my home internet service to Vodacom turned out to be a huge mistake. The entire experience has been a nightmare. I app**** for Vodacom fibre on September 25 and received approval, but had to give my previous provider a month's notice because Vodacom assured me that the transition to their service would be seamless and that I wouldn't be without internet on November 1. However, when I called on October 27 to check on my router, I was informed that there had been a mix-up with the courier. When November 1 arrived, I still hadn't received my router or any communication regarding the installation. After numerous follow-ups and countless call tickets, my device finally arrived on November 5. Despite making repeated calls for assistance over the next 10 days, I was left frustrated and decided to cancel my order. While they confirmed the cancellation, I was then informed that I was placed on a one-month notice, preventing me from connecting to another service until Vodacom releases me on December 13. What kind of service is this? How much more frustration and inconvenience do I have to endure?
