Horrible cancellation experience AGAIN

In January this year I gave notice to cancel my Vodacom contract. I was told that I will receive a sms and email to confirm my cancellation.

I did not receive any sms or email. A week later I called again and this time I received an email confirming the cancellation. My last debit order will be at the end of February 2024.

I went to a Vodacom store to see if the cancellation is loaded and I was told by the store that my account is with Pre-legal. I have never missed any debit order. I have been with Vodacom for 6 years and have never had even 1 reversal or rejection.

I want my name cleared and I will never do business with Vodacom ever again. This is the second time I am having an issue when trying to cancel.

Thank you for the reply, I want to know what was the reason that my ITC was effected? Like I earlier explained, I have never missed any payments so why was my ITC changed? This has adverse effects on my credit score so I want a proper reason for this.

If I did not go to Vodacom I would have never know that I was on Pre-legal. How many other customers are you'll doing this to. I think everyone on Vodacom should go to their closest store and check that they are not also listed as Pre legal.
