********** SERVICE- SIM SWAP GONE BAD

My wife bought a phone from Vodacom online on the 14.06.2017 and told them that we wanted to keep the same number. Phone was delivered to us without a nano sim card which the phone uses. We were told to buy a sim and we would get reimbursed for it, so we did. We called them to do a sim swap, as my wife is the primary account holder, she had to do the verification and request.

Vodacom, then decided to swap my wife's number instead of mine. We called them to reverse the sim swap and we were told to wait for 24hrs. We again called vodacom today after reversing the sim swap to enquire about our initial request and we were told to go to a vodashop and we would be issued another sim. Went to Vodashop, only to be told that we should buy another sim card because they can't use that one.

All the consultants we have spoken to have been unable to asssist, with the excpetion of Portia(whom we called 20.06.2017 @ 00:10 and she returned our call @ 05:20).

It is 6 days later and we still have not used this phone, not done a simple swap and bought a sim card which is now pointless.

WHAT TYPE OF A SERVICE IS THIS?? So much for being "Africa's leading network provider". This phrase is misleading us to buy into vodacom, it only a headache upon another.
