********** Service

On the 20/12/2016 I made a call to the Vodacom customer care line (082111) as I wished to migrate my package from a uChoose Smart M to a Top-Up Smart XL+. I spoke to a woman who helped me with all my queries with regards to migration and we agreed that I would migrate the package and come the 01/01/2017 I would get the minutes, data and sms's that were all part of the new package.

Come the 1st of January 2017 I had not received the deal that was agreed upon and the minutes, data and sms's did not come through. I thought there was a slight delay and I left it for a few hours. I then made a call to Vodacom customer care (082111) to enquire as to what the reason was for me not receiving the deal and the person I spoke to informed me that the request was cancelled and there was not reason as to why this was so. I informed her that was not communicated with and as a client I believe communication is key. She informed me she would log a query and someone would get back to me the following week.

A week and a half went by and still not feedback so I called customer care again and the person I spoke to told me that the request that was logged was also cancelled and I was yet again....not informed of this. I immediately voiced my frustrations and logged a complaint to which thr response was that a complaint would be logged with the solutions department and they would follow up with me later that week. After a few days of not getting any calls I made a call to the solutions department, they said the call was still being proccessed despite me informing them that I received an sms stating that the call had been closed. The person I spoke to said they would log another complaint for me now and that the back office would be dealing with the complaint.

I called in a week later to find out the progress on the call and yet again nothing had been done. By now I was absolutely furious as it had been one month since I had made the initial call to migrate my package. I informed the person I spoke to that I wanted a call from some sort of management and she told me I would hear from someone later that day. It is now five days later and I am yet to receive a call from anyone.

I strongly believe that if Vodacom prides themself in customer service and state they are a great company then they need to up their game because I am a very unhappy customer, a customer who has been with them for six years but if this is the way that a loyal customer gets treated then I am willing to go to my nearest Vodacom store and cancel my contract if nothing gets done about this.
