Last week monday I requested a paid letter for my account at Vodacom, the person informed me that it will take up to 48 hours. Wednesday came, and I still have not received the paid up letter requested 48 hours later. I phones the call center again and after being transfered from one department to the other I eventualy spoke to someone who told me it should be resolved by the end of bussiness day. I waited untill Thursday afternoon and still no email containg the elusive paid up letter, I phoned again. After again being transferred from one department to the other, I spoke to a person who told me that they did not have my email address, which was strange, because every time I spoke to a so called service representitive I had to confirm my email address. None the less, I gave the email address again, I was told I would recieve the letter in the next 2 hours. Friday morning came and still no email containing the magical paid up letter. So I phoned again, same drill as before being transferred between departments (I realized you have to clear at leat 20 minutes of your schedule to phone these guys, because that is the avarage time it takes to speak to the correct person) I spoke to a person who confirmed my email address again an assured me I will receive the paid up letter before 4pm Friday. The weekend came and the weekend went, a lot of emails in my inbox, but still no email from Vodacom. I phone them again this morning confirming my email address as I phone, being promised that I wil receive the letter in 15 minutes. It is now 3pm, I have phoned Vodacom 5 times since this morning, being kept on hold for long periods of time, confirming my email address everytime, being promised I will receive the letter shortly, but still no letter is received, not a hint of an update.
