Hopeless.
Good day,
Please change your ratings to be able to give a zero rating. Giving one star is indicative of some level of service. My experience is that there is NO service and incompetence is now equalling that of state departments and enterprises.
On Sunday 26 June at around 06h00 my fibre line dropped. My take was that it is an area outage and I waited until Monday morning when i spoke to Ntombi at the call centre whom advised that it was an area outage. Being a member of the community forum where i stay i soon assessed that i was the only fibre line down and all other members of our community using the infrastructure service provider OPENSERVE all had network service.
I called again on Monday and spoke to Ntombi whom after telling her that all the community members had service gave me a reference number. SR***. By Wednesday 29 June Ii still had no active fibre and i called again. On this occasion i spoke to Craig whom took pains to tell me how their service worked and that it was not an area outage. He further explained that somebody would call And make further arrangements with me. Around 17 h54 on Wednesday a person called advising me that a technician will be in contact with me.
On Thursday 30 June i called again and spoke once again to Ntombi. She kept me holding on the line for approximately 5 minutes whilst apparantly trying to get hold of the technician. By Friday morning 10h00 my patience was being seriously tested and i spoke to Ryan at the call centre. I said if the technician did not call with in 10 minutes i aim to cancel all services that Vodacom provides to my family. I was irate and asked him to ensure that the call is being recorded. Ryan asked me to give the technician an hour to call me and also promised to give me a call to check if the technician did call. Suffice to say by Friday 13h00 i had not heard from the technician nor did Ryan call to check as he had committed to do. My last call was to Amir on Friday at 13h00 and i asked to speak to his supervisor. After holding on for some time Ryan informed me that his team lead Sydney Matutu was in a meeting and would call me back. I then asked if i could have the CEO name and Email Address and he said he as not allowed to. I insisted but he kept refusing. About 50 minutes later Amir called me and informed that Sidney was still in a meeting and would call me.
I am waiting impatiently with little to no hope that this beurocratic quagmire will manage to get a technician to call me.
