Holding Phones back until price increases
I ordered an iPhone 6 64GB at a certain price at the Vodacom Canal Walk atore. 19days later I was told that the phone was ready to be collected. Upon collection, I was told that a price increase happened in the time I was waiting for the phone to arrive and I would have to pay an extra R70 per month for the same deal. This equating to R1680 over a 24 month period. This leads me to believe that service providers can then let customers know that phones are not available and only make them available after price increases. After being a loyal Vodacom customer for 15+ years, I will now be shopping around at other service providers and will take the 3 contracts I currently have active with.
