Hit a brick wall with Vodacom

Please, please help me. I beg you!!!! I have been a Vodacom client for many years and had no problem with the service or my pay as you go contract until now. I purchased a phone cash at game with a sim card and registered at RICA as prescribed by the terms and conditions required a few years ago. On Friday 29th April 2016, I had no access to my phone and then contacted Vodacom to assist me as I require my phone for business purposes and business banking. They informed me they moved my pre-paid contract to a contract phone. This was done without my knowledge or consent. They advised me to contact Edgars/Jet on *** as it was handed over to them to issue a fixed contract on that number. I informed the customer service representative of Vodacom that I do not have and not interested in any accounts with Edgars or Jet. I was issued a reference number *** but feel I have hit a brick wall as no one wants to take ownership of the fault and nowhere have i requested or app**** for a fixed contract with Vodacom. My request is how does one have this rectified as the Senior Management of Vodacom is unreachable and the poor consultants don't have the mandate to change my contract back to pre-paid. Surely there is a law like Consumer protection act that stops corporations to change your accounts like they want to without authorization. Vodacom staff was not helpful and if you cant help me my next step is to go to move to another service provider and report to the Consumer Act. Vodacom are you interested in assisting me or not please advise
