Highly ****ed off client

The below was first email sent to Vodacom on 11 May 2017:

"I am an extremely unhappy and dissatisfied client of the Vodacom network.

Hi, I am Cherie Ann Taylor with cellphone number. By my cellphone number you can see that I was initially a MTN client for over 10 years, until a day came, when my husband decided to bribe me to subscribe to Vodacom, by him paying my monthly subscription fee. He is clearly a loyal client of Vodacom.

However, my issue is that ever since I personally started leasing with the Vodacom network service, by separating my cellphone account from his, when I done an upgrade about two months ago, everything went downhill.

When I was on MTN for over a decade, I was an extremely happy and loyal client. Not because they never had issues, but because they provided me with the best customer service and within a reasonable period of time, and I never ever needed to stalk them with issues or credits. My requests were always approved and dealt with promptly.

Yet, within just 1 month of being with Vodacom, my first impressions were **********.

Here are my problems:
1. When I done my upgrade, no one had told me that I would need to pay in R150 in cash, before I could walk out of the door with my new phone. In fact, I didn't even have money on me that day.
2. I was double charged for my old subscription for March of R110 on my monthly bill. Please see attached invoice, as my husband had already paid that fee on his account.
3. Its been 1 week since I logged a call for a credit, and no one has gotten back to me. Instead, I have had to basically stalk Vodacom, because no one ever informs the client of what is happening.
4. I was given 5 gigs of data, and the SMS says that the data expires on 01 June 2017, is it 01 June 2017 yet? No. It is currently 03 May 2017. However, on 01 May 2017 the remaining balance of 2 gigs data was removed from current airtime account, and unknowingly, R150 of my airtime was used while I was using Internet services!! This is completely unacceptable, I am outraged.
5. Apparently my notifications of low data, or no data, do not come through to my number? They are being sent to a different number.

With MTN, these things never ever happened to me , and if a mistake was made, my data/airtime would be reimbursed immediately. No stress. No hassle. Only after speaking to 1 consultant, on 1 day, with 1 free phone call. Amazing right!

Thus, as the reasonable human being as I am, and I understand that people have lives out of work, and public holidays are great. I and giving this entire network, and every department involved 7 working days, from today, to arrange the following:
1. A full refund into my Capitec Bank account to the value of R110 (or how ever much I was over charged by). I would like a notification of when this is done please, so that I can give the bank an additional 7 working days to process the refund.
2. Because I already logged a call, I want a notification when my SMS's are arranged to be sent to my cellphone number (*), and not *.
3. I want the remaining balance of my 5 gig data, which was about 2 gigs, to be put back into my airtime account to be expired on 01 June 2017, as promised to me. I also request that my R150 that was lost due to Vodacom error of removing my data, and not notifying the correct number that airtime was being used, to be placed back into my airtime account. For, if I had not been told that my data was going to expire 01 June 2017, I would have bought data to use, and not allow R150 of my airtime to be used on internet usage. That make sense right!?

I cannot explain how frustrated, disappointed, and outraged I am, and have been for the past week.
When I go to a Vodacom store, they give me a number to call. When I call the number, they tell me to go into the store where I opened up the upgrade, because only that store can sort out the 5 gig data error?? What if I was in an other city, and doing the upgrade their because that store had the phone I wanted? Am I expected to fly all the way there to fix an issue?? Completely unacceptable.

The call rating option shouldn't prompt to ask if we are happy with the consultant and his/her service. The consultant is great, and does the best that he/she is capable of doing with the amount of authority that he/she has. It's the Network and structure that is the problem.

A huge thank you to all the consultants that assisted my frustration, nagging, and constant calling. They were amazing.

Thus, I sent this e-mail, so that this can be dealt with promptly, to authorities that can approve my requests, and be sent to wherever it needs to be.

I am expecting someone to respond to this e-mail as well."

The below is my 6th e-mail to Vodacom this morning:

"Q1. Why would I need to constantly authenticate my account, if I have done so twice already, and it's still the same e-mail address?

Q2. You personally phoned me on 11 May 2017 to let me know that it will take 2 days, but its basically a week already and no one got back to me since. Why is this taking so long?

Q3. The first day that I called about the problems was on 27 April 2017, all that happened was that I received the following SMS:

"Your query has been escalated to a support specialist. Your ref number is:1- ********** ********** Visit www.vodacom.co.za/help from your PC or cellphone. Thank you, Vodacom"

But two darn weeks later, I had to call in again, only to find out that the request was canceled, without anyone telling me ****. Why is no one communicating with me?

Q4. I sent an email over two weeks with all invoices and evidence attached, so what is the problem?

Please respond back within today, and also send me your managers details, as well as the details of the management from the query and credit departments."

Its almost two months, and even though every authentication process was passed, and all evidence and documents sent through, after spending over R600 airtime and over R400 in fees in less than 30days with Vodacom, no one has the respect or decency to fix any issues or tell me why its taking a month to sort out the problem!!!!!????????????.??

Compared to the 24-48hour policy, this is ridiculous.
