Here we go again

So i spent most of my day trying to sort out my Vodacom contract sorted out and guess what..still not satisfactory service.I've dealt with the team manager in the Retentions department who after being pushed around back and forth tells me that even after cancelling my contract a month ago it was not processed and I have to wait another month for it to be sorted out. When asked who is going to take responsibility for the charges incurred on this contract which I did not want..i received an insincere I'm sorry the subscription will be credited but not the charges..so let le make it clear now if I haven't yet...the level of service is pathetic because my isdue has still not been resolved...my contract has not been cancelled..i am still liable to pay for charges because someone else failed to do their job and no one in the department is accepting any responsibility and refuse to cancel it effective immediately even though it it not my error! After speaking to many consultants i have resolved that the department itself works to suit themselves and not to the benefit of the consumer! Next step Ombudsmans..since empty promises are made..calls are not returned and wayward apologies are given with comments being made such as mam, if you were on prepaid you would still be buying airtime. That is definitely irrespective of the fact that my problem was not solved.Fix this now! Stop ignoring the problem.

So I received an apology from Vodacom regarding the error.Whilst the apology is understood I don't see how it's going to pay for my bill this month which has already reached over R3000 and for which I receive no statements. Using my phone is mandatory and unavoidable ...so not only does Vodacom consultants mess up what I asked for ..no one takes responsibilty for the cost incurred to me and I'm still liable to pay for someone else's mistake??If there was a "technical error" as I was informed...should I not have been notified of it so I knew what to expect and if I did not notice the error then what? Oops sorry mam...you changed the contract...finally to what I want...I applaud you for responding so much later...so what now is to be said for the cost incurred to me?? Still grotesquely unhappy.
