Here is to another 30 years of ripping the Customer

I requested an upgrade on my home internet package towards the end of January 2024. The package I upgraded to came with a HUAWEI B535 router. My router has been working fine until on Monday, 13 May, when suddenly it just stopped working. I contacted Vodacom for assistance and was referred to my nearest Vodacom outlet. On Wednesday I was able to visit a Vodacom outlet and was informed that the router needed to be booked in for repairs. I have been left with no service as the sim can only be used in an approved home internet router. No loan router was provided as I was told that I took the router to the wrong outlet and was supposed to have taken to a repair centre. I use my router for various reasons and my kid also rely on it for her schoolwork. This is frustrating to me as I’m currently not getting the service I diligently pay for every month without fail. I feel like Vodacom provided me with a router they knew it was faulty and they didn’t even have the decency to replace it as I’m thinking is still within warranty period. Now I must buy a new router so that my life and that of my loved ones is not interrupted as I don’t even know how long it will take before I get feedback.
