Hell-Hole called Vodacom - you better get out now while you still can, you might be the next victim !

Dear Vodacom, do you know, that your Customers are the lifeblood of any business. Showing and expressing gratitude to your customers is the least a company can do and make a customer feel valued and appreciated. It is shocking to see how countless of customers is taking the time to tell the world and all their friends and on all social circles possible…………not to use Vodacom as their cell phone service Provider !

My experience with Vodacom this month !

I will do everything possible to tell the world – never in your life use Vodacom as your cell phone service provider because the people working for Vodacom does not know what service is all about. It is something which cannot be bought or measured with money, it is integrity, something that nobody at Vodacom has ! They don’t even care if you lodge a complaint or cancel your contract after being a loyal customer for more than 10 years!

Vodacom debited my account with R5,585.84, charging me R3,212 for 4gig of “out of bundle data” while their price for 5gig = R 399 (it’s nearly R3,000 more, than what you will by at Vodacom when purchasing data – and they have made it impossible for me to buy data on my existing contract “on cell phone” and even on my FNB account !

I received a hell of a shock, when a debit went through my bank account of R 5,585.84 ! on the morning of 16 June 2017 ! What on earth, are you people crazy, are you out of your mind!

I phoned Vodacom immediately, (I don’t even have to tell the world of the service you will get, phoning Vodacom when you encounter a problem. These people are all robots and don’t have a clue what client service is and how to treat customers). I informed them, we have uploaded photo’s on mothers day on Facebook which took us less than an hour. At the time, I did not realize, sms’e coming through which said “out of data bundle rates will now apply”. When I saw this message I immediately tried to purchase a data bundle on my cell phone and it could not go through on the *111# -
which does not take this transaction on this cell phone contract. I then tried to purchase data on my Fnb account, no luck, as it says “invalid request, the “cell” number you have chosen does not qualify for the chosen pre-paid product”.

This is the 1st time this happened to me and I asked the person, where does it state the specific amount payable for “out of bundle rates”, why does Vodacom send you half a message that you “out of bundle rates” but does not tell you what “out of bundle rates” is, and that you can actually not buy data on this contract ? This is **************** rate you guys charge as you know, I cannot buy data while being on this contract!

I was at my beach house on mothers day and not within reach of a shop and thought by myself that the rate could not be that bad - because a gig of Data only cost R 149 and Vodacom charges R399 for 5gig of data !

What the hell, you charged me R3 212 for 4,1 gb of data and I would like to know, who the Ombudsman is who regulates Vodacom as you just charge whatever you wish and just take this money out of a customers bank account!

The payment of R5 585.84 went through 16 June 2017 and I reversed this payment on the same day and lodge a complaint on 16 June 2017, spoke to Norma @ 8.14am, to lodge complaint and she transferred the call to Kifilo Molaba and I don’t even want to go into the reaction I got when phoning Vodacom on this day!
I phoned in this morning again ( 26 June 2017 @ 11.37am) to follow up on my complaint. Would you believe me what this arrogant guy at cancellations department who’s name I took down told me; that my complaint has been closed and I will not get feedback because it is dealt with. When I mentioned that I am going to put my experience on social media, this guy said that other cellphone providers (and he actually mentioned their names) like MTN, CELL C and Telkom’s names is just as bad as Vodacom’s name in the Industry ! Now you all know why I said that the people working for Vodacom has no pride in the company they working for and has no integrity !

Vodacom, you don’t know how to give customers the service they are entitled to which they pay for and don’t understand that once needs to give your customer a service to feel valued !
I have been a customer who have been sticking to you for more than 10 years which is a long time, but when phoning in to cancel my contract, you could not even showcase your gratitude and your staff does not even know what “retention of clients” means and treat you like as if they have given you a 10 years free subscription.

I would like to see if anyone at Vodacom has the integrity to get back to me on my complaint number REF 1- ********** ********** lodged on 16 June 2017 @ 8.14am
