Harrasment for a cancelled and expired contract.

I had a 3 year contract with Vodacom which expired on 15 /03/2024. I called in on the day to cancel the debit order data and insurance. I spoke to Sihle who told me that if I receive an sms after our conversation the cancelation is succesfull, if not I should follow up. I received the cancellation sms and assumed that the cancellation was successfull. Only for Vodacom legal and pre-legal and even outside debt collectors to harrass me on a daily basis. The more I explain, the more they call. The more I tell them the contract has been finalized, the more they try to debit my account. I told them I don't need insurance because all my laptops in my household is covered under my insurance. I don't need to pay R200+ for data if I can get uncapped data and wifi for R500 from Telkom. Please resolve this issue. I am more than fed-up because each person that I deal with acts as if I owe them personally. This account has been cancelled. What is the use of recording conversations if you cannot trace it and listen to it. ACCOUNT I***-4

I am so unhappy with Vodacom. I missed the calls after the initial Hellopeter complaint because some of us are working and are not supposed to be answering phone calls randomly. So this unhappy customer, after still receiving numerous phone calls from Vodacom pre-legal, called Vodacom cancellations again. Only to be told that my account is with pre-legal. I asked how does an account that is supposed to be cancelled at pre-legal. Long story short: the very helpful lady Genevieve, requested a recording of my cancellation conversation. HOWEVER, I should go a my nearest Vodacom store, listen to the recording and then decide if I am going to pay the cancelled account or cancel the account. In other words, I should resolve my own issue. So my question is: You have a unhappy customer, you suggest that that customer listen to her recording and make a decision. Where are the managers because according to my knowledge, if a company gets a complaint they investigate, listen to the recording and resolve the issue but it seems like I will be employed by Vodacom to investigate and resolve my own issue. Why do you record conversations if you cannot use them to resolve issues. I am flabbergasted! To think I wanted to take out another contract laptop and phones for my sons. Nope, not gonna happen.
