Harassment by third parties contracted by Vodacom
To whom it may concern,

I got a call from Cynthia Malatji claiming to be from V-Mobile or Afrizone stating that I automatically qualify for a Sony Experia that they are selling through Vodacom and the message says a vetting application for a new line has been registered against my Account......

That part I do understand its cold calling its fine, my concern is one. When we sign cell phone contracts we signed a consent form that our details must not be given to third parties, now Vodacom is trading with our details and making profits.

I really need an explanation, and please I also need a share of the amount that you got from selling my information to third parties because be trust you, we believe that you have a fiduciary duty and you respect the confidentiality clause.

I am really disappointed with you Vodacom, this marks the genesis of me valuing providers who respect the confidential information of the clients.

I am still seeking some advice on what are the legal remedies available if the provider breaches the contract, once I am clarified I will definitely take that chance because now we are being harassed by these third parties.

Regards
Angry customer
