Harassed by Vodacom Debt Collection Agents

I am being continually harassed by debt collection agents on behalf of Vodacom claiming I owe money for a Vodacom account.

I cancelled my contract and converted to prepaid. The cancellation fee was duly paid and I have an invoice stating that I owe nothing further on the account.

Vodacom has the audacity to “hand over” my account to these debt collection agents who are continually harassing me despite being given proof that the contract is cancelled and invoices showing that the account is at zero.

I’m utterly frustrated and angry at having to deal with such ****. It’s a waste of time, energy and effort to continually say the same thing.

The contract is cancelled and the number converted to prepaid. I owe Vodacom nothing and I’m prepared to take this to the ombudsman!

Please stop with your generic responses.

The calls and smses received from VVM debt collection are borderline harassment.

I owe you nothing further.

I have received invoices from Vodacom stating that my account is at zero. If I owed anything further then would the invoice not reflect an amount owing as opposed to a zero balance?

Further my account was paid each month without issue while on contract. You now have the audacity to “hand over” my account for something this is clearly not owing.

Take your generated invoice and get stuffed.
