Harassed and belittled by Vodacom telemarketer

Today at 16:32 I received a call from one of the companies Vodacom use to do their telemarketing. The man whose name I couldn’t hear because he rattled it off so quickly phoned from ‭+27 (31) ********** ‬. He proceeded to try and sell me on Vodacom’s data deal of 2Gig per month for R129 pm for 24 months. I listened to his whole pitch and asked him if he could phone me again early next week so that I can think it over on the weekend. He then didn’t want to accept that and started pushing the offer on to me,saying that why do I want to think it over? I explained very courteously that I’m not sure if I wanted to be locked into a 24 month contract and again asked for the weekend to think it over. He became pushy and kept on questioning why I want to think it over and I repeated my request. He then became very pushy and arrogant, telling me that if I can’t see the value in this deal then Vodacom can’t help me. How arrogant!?!?!!

Vodacom,I don’t appreciate being treated like this when I’m being bombarded with telemarketing and I kindly ask to take my time in considering the offer. This is harassment and unprofessional!!

I was actually interested in the offer but now due to the way this man treated me I’m no longer interested.

People like him give Vodacom a bad name.
