Handed over to Debt Collectors
Good Day,
A few months ago my wife had a contract that came to an end with Vodacom, we have email evidence saying the contract went into prepaid. She had a conversation over the phone with someone way before the contract came to an end and explained she wants the contract to end and not continue on a month to month. Now over 6 months later we get notified that she has been handed over to debt collectors for not paying the cancellation fee, which was never mentioned to her and why should I pay a fee if the contract came to an end??? Not one time was she emailed or contacted about this. The debt collectors keep trying to take money out of our accounts and harassing her constantly with phone calls, her credit score now says she is a slow payer.. all because Vodacom can't do their job.
Please attend to this as soon as possible otherwise I will have no choice but to retain a Lawyer and ensure Vodacom is responsible for any legal fees.
