Handed over for a contract I do not own

Early in 2015, I saw a once-off debit on my bank account for a Vodacom contract. I went to my bank and asked them to reverse the debit, which they did. I sent an affidavit to Vodacom Legal Department in which I explained that I do not have a Vodacom contract at all. I heard nothing further, and no further debits were deducted from my account. Today, I received a telephone call from Hammond Pole collectors, demanding payment for an arrears amount for Vodacom again!!! I called the Head Office, and was transferred to the Call Centre, and then finally to the Subscriber Collections Call Centre, where Alissa Motaung advised me to send an email to the legal department. I have done so. In the interim, I have been listed on the ITC for a Vodacom contract which I did not enter into. Someone has committed identity theft / *****, and I am being penalised for it. This is damaging, and it seems that Vodacom legal department does nothing to assist.
