Hammond Pole & Vodacom - No idea whats going on
I recently got contacted from Hammond Pole saying my Vodacom account had been handed over to them.
After numerous back and forth emails, I am actually now at the point where I am almost willing to pay the amount Hammond Pole tell me just so that I don't have to deal with this anymore. I have contacted Vodacom accounts department who tell me they cant tell me anything because the account has been handed over and Hammond Pole need to request that the account is handed back over to Vodacom for them to look into it. Hammond Pole tell me I owe R981. I have asked numerous times for a invoice, pro-forma, statement and receive nothing. I have asked numerous times for management to call me or get in touch because it just doesn't make sense. At 1 point I got told I owed R600 odd, then 10 days later its all of a sudden gone up to R900 odd.
I then get an SMS saying that the amount can be reduced by up to 25% so I ask about this and get told you then owe R909. (R981 minus 20% is not R909 it is R784.80. I then ask about this and paying it off over 3 months (R784.8 / 3 months = R261.60) and get an email back saying "Okay pay the R261 for 3 months it will be fine") What happened to it being R261.60, companies like this don;t just loose the 60c. No punctuation, no greeting, nothing. It all seems rather out to me.
It just doesn't make any sense to me. I have seen numerous of these complaints on Hellopeter as well. Starting to feel like i'm being taken for a ride. Still have not received a single form of paper work stating what number I owe money on. etc etc.
