Greenstone Vodacom

Having gone there on Saturday to find that they were extremely busy, I decided to go there today as I have my 92 year old mother with me in a Wheelchair.

Well what an experience - First off I am told at the door that even though I have had a contract for the last 10 years with the same everything, I would need a proof of Residence (needless to say they debit by Bank Account for their money every month) - I have proof of who I am, so where I live should not be an issue especially due to the fact that I anly want to do a Sim swop as my old Sim card does not fit into my new phone.

I sat a while and was then called to Counter 4 - where the Consultant after asking me for my number twice then sat back in her chair and told me to read the little notice she has above her desk to the effect that they are experiencing problems.

The Consultant proceeded to tell me she can not help me because of the upgrading of the system and I would have to go to either East Rand Mall or Eastgate. Why then was I not told this as the door when I came in instead of sitting there like a folol in the cold with Granny in the Wheelchair - Do these people not think for themselves, do they not communicate to one another about what they are (if they are) capable of doing for their Customers?

With this kind of service, who needs Vodacom, especially now that we have a few more Networks available to us!!!!!!!
