Greedy Vodacom Tactics

My company has contracted with Vodacom for more than 20 years. I have been a loyal customer but I have decided to migrate all my corporate mobile accounts to Telkom due to the poor service and inflexibility if the devices where the second sim slot is blocked to other networks. Vodacom is very expensive and there is poor value for money on the contracts. The level of service is also questionable given that the call centre staff are *********** and lack the telephone ettiquette to deal with customers professionally. The worst is trying to port out numbers to other networks. It seems that Vodcaom does everything in their power to delay the process. I tried to port my number twice and over a month later I am still waiting for the number to be ported. When I call in, I get shunted from pillar to post with no resolution in sight. Clearly Vodacom has evasive tactics to milk every cent out of the consumer. Really disappointing that another organisation that has become rich in this country is following the general trend of poor customer servic and arrogance where customer satisfaction is no longer the focus and greed has taken over. Really disgusting.

This is a lie. I have proof from Telkom that the port request was submitted. I also received an SMS from Vodacom that the port will be done on the 31st.

The number is ***. Clearly the person doing the investigation has not made any effort to investigate properly and just brushing us off. Really disappointing. The number is still active and if you lookup the number on the CRBD database, you will see that it is still hosted by Vodacom. CRDB - Number Query (porting.co.za)
