GREEDY MONEY-GRABBING VODACOM

My son's contract expired in July 2016 and Vodacom have been charging him R225 per month (just for the cost of sending the bill) since July 2016. His cell phone number is not even valid in SA any more as he now lives and works in Chile. Despite repeated e-mails to try to sort this out, he is now being charged interest on this amount because he now empties out his SA bank account so that Vodacom cannot get their grubby money-grabbing paws on his money any longer. It seems that this problem just cannot be resolved, despite phone calls, notifying the bank to cancel the stop order, etc. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to do to stop Vodacom sending my son bills for a phone he has not had since July 2016???? I would advise anybody not to sign a contract with Vodacom, they will be sending you bills even after you are dead.
