Greatly dissapointed by Vodacom

I app**** for a data contract at the vodacom data store in tygervalley about a week ago think was on the 27th of February 2019. However I only signed and entered into the agreement whereby vodacom is to provide me with 40 gigs of data comprising 20 gig anytime data and 20 gig night data per month at a cost of R229.

However there was slight problems with the activation of my data contract, and the final activation only occurred on Sunday 4 March 2019 at about 16:00 pm.

Upon activation vodacom loaded 18 gig anytime data and 18 gig night time data. I used some of the data for Internet and social media and at arround 22:30pm when going to bed I confirmed that I had a remaining data balance of 17 gig anytime data and 18 gig night time data.

To my surprise on Monday morning the 5th of March 2019 I had a zero balance of data on my simcard. I contacted vodacom to inquire what had happened to my data and after many investigations from their side they informed me that I had used up all my data and that they are giving 5 gig as a goodwill gesture.

I have since visited the store where I initiated the data contract for them to investigate, and to cancel my contract with vodacom as they have failed to deliver the data as per the agreement.

They performed a data usage analysis on my mobile device and found that I have indeed not used data amounting to 17 gig over the last few days and have also forwarded this data usage report to vodacom head office for investigation.

I have since pleaded with them to cancel my contract as I am grieved by the whole incident and am no longer interested in the contract.

Vodacom has sent me multiple smses stating that I used up all the data and that there is nothing wrong on there side, however the vodacom data store agrees with me that as per the data usage report on my device and their system I should have 17 gig anytime data and 18 gig night time data.

I want to cancel the contract as vodacom is blatantly dishonest but I am un able to as I am getting sent from the one person to the next person and everyone is telling me they are escalating the matter to the "back office".

I am greatly dissapointed by this as I have been a loyal vodacom customer for the past number of years and have 3 contracts with them currently inclusive of this regretted new data contract.

I did not receive any feedback from vodacom but I can see that the data is reinstated.
