GOODBYE YOU ON YOUR OWN YOURS TRULY VODACOM AND BARNARD GERMOND & ASSOCIATES

I had a Vodacom contract that was coming up to an end four years ago, the contract package included 2 mobile phones which was what i essentially was paying for monthly. Instead of upgrading i opted to downgrade from the package i was on. I went online to take up a new offer as part of my upgrade and chose a package that included one cellular mobile and a lower installment amount than the previous package i was on. The device was received and new lower installment contract activated.

To my shock and dismay the first month i was charged double what i was supposed to be charged (new contract instalment and old contract instalment). For months and months after this i called in almost every day and even went in person to Vodaworld to try resolve this issue. For a number of months this amount would go off of my account. I tried to tell them that i am not disputing payment of the newly activated contract but i shouldn't be debited for a contract no longer in use, no one was willing to help me and i got no resolution to my problem. Their constant answer was that because i upgraded online, they didn't have a point of reference which doesn't MAKE SENSE AT ALL!!! What does this mean anyway, considering that VODADOM staff don't know????

Out of desperation I then stopped paying hoping this would help have someone look into my account since no matter how many times i went to Vodaworld would help. I would explain to the collection agents that called me why i was not paying and they would tell me that they will escalate to their managers and instead they then had an adverse judgement listed on my name and handed my account to collectors called BG & A (Barnard Germond and Associates). I was contacted by this lawyers and nevertheless i paid the debt in full as i was tired of fighting. They gave me a paid up letter and told me that they will contact Vodacom to update their records and subsequently remove the adverse listing against my name on the credit bureaus. This was 04 October 2016, with the promise that my record will be updated within or after 7 days.

Almost two years later i am made aware that an adverse judgement reflects on my name for an amount of R3689 from Vodacom. In disbelief i went into Experian and to my despair, there it was. What nonsense is this?? I am giving Vodacom the benefit of doubt and say they haven't gotten around to removing this listing and it is not some ********** activity between Vodacom and this Attorneys. But if so, TWO YEARS???

I need my name cleared BY THE END OF THIS MONTH. Or else i am opening a case of ***** and will use the same amount of resources i used to call into your contact centers when i was trying to get my name cleared to call into every media house until someone hears me. So quick to harass people when you want something from them. And once you have it, it is GOODBYE YOU ON YOUR OWN.

I am tired of Vodacom interfering in my life negatively.
