Going back in time with technology (Can't help with an add-on contract)

I was due for an upgrade. Vodacom sales consultant phoned me and I agreed. I requested an add on (smar****ch). Apparently there is a different department handling this. A number was given to me and when I phoned the number doesn't exist. This was last week and decided to try again today. Phoned the 082 135 number and consultant gave me an other number that starts with 031. Again nobody answers. Phoned again a few hours later today and gets put through to another consultant that really tries to help me. She stays on the line until finally I get through. Now I get told I HAVE to go to a shop for an add-on contract and I need to take my ID with 3 months bank statement, they can't help me online. To me this is really stupid and annoying and time wasting. Vodacom should have the online platform to cater for add-ons as well (if you can sell contracts and do upgrades, why not add-on as well?). I personally won't go to a shop. They always never have stock for what you want and at the end of the day always try to smear another ****py product onto you. I have been a contract client for over 20 year and now I need to show bank statements that I am credit worthy again? I am in the mood the cancel this current cellphone upgrade. You are supposed to be the leaders in the cellphone network industry

Guess won't be getting that add on. Bad on you Vodacom. Specifically wanted that watch and now I can't get because I "already upgraded" even though I never really wanted to upgrade. The consultant that spoke to me today asked if somebody phoned me except her and nobody. Here is a thought, fire the bad apples that is not doing their jobs and upgrade your systems that clients don't get shunted around
