God forbid your loose your passowrd

I have a Wi-Fi ****le for my internet usage. I bought a new iPad and it won't connect because it keeps rejecting the password. I phoned Vodacom's call centre to confirm what my password is. I ask the lady to provide me with the number and she insist that I open the unit. I told her on several occasions that it is a sealed unit and you cannot open it. It has a slot for the sim card. Her response is she cannot help me. Vodacom doesn't have record of the password. So now I have a two year contract that is worthless to me as I cannot connect to the internet as I don't have a password. After going back and forth that there must be a record of what my password is she says I must go to the store. They will access the same system she has so what is the point of having a call centre. So either she is *********** or it is ridiculous that Vodacom don't keep record of such vital information. Either way this has been a disappointing and annoying experience.
