GO to CELL C
Visited Langeberg Mall on Saturday 10th October at about 10.30am with an 8 month old Nokia Lumia 930. Battery not charging properly. Was told that had to hand phone in and there were no loan phones available. Could not hand my phone in as was waiting on urgent notification so requested technicians to just open and confirm that it was battery.<br> Consultant refused and said phone would have to go to Nokia. Asked if they could just not check as I was then prepared to buy a new battery. NO - the consultant then suggested I consider the buyout with Cell C so that I could move to them.. I have been a client of vodacom for over 10 years if not more....they have never had an issue with my paying or complaining..but when I am in dire straits with my phone they made it as difficult as possible for me basically indicated they were not interested in helping me and then suggested I go to their rival firm???? Vodacom phoned me on Monday 12th and I reported the incident. The call centre lady was sweet and shocked at my treatment. However it is now 19th October and I have yet to hear from them again. I still have a battery issue and was forced to buy a power pack to keep my phone on charge.
