Getting Bulldozed again by VODACOM
I need assistance please! I am slowing starting to lose my patience! I got a new Samsung Galaxy Watch in November 2018, in December, the watch started giving me issues, I took it to Vodacom Repairs in Sandton in Jan 2019. The watch is WATERPROOF meant for diving up to 50m, I didn't even swim with it. They want to charge me R2800 to have it fixed due to WATER DAMAGE?????????? I NEED SOMEONE TO PHONE ME AND EXPLAIN TO ME, HOW A WATERPROOF WATCH CAN GET WATER DAMAGE AND HOW THE F**K IS IT OUT OF GUARANTEE UNDER 2 MONTHS!!!!

11 Feb 2019, 08:39Yes, I was contacted but my issue is still not resolved. Vodacom wants to claim that the warranty has expiered... The watch is less than 2 months old. There is obviously a facotry issue with the watch as it is supposed to be used for diving up to 50m.... I didn't dive to 50m... And it has "water damage". As Vodacom is supposed to be the service provider because I got the watch through Vodacom, surely they should contact their "device specialist" aka Samsung to sort out the issue???
