Get their lines mixed

About a year ago I was contacted by a lady on behalf of Vodacom offering me a better plan, same data, but on a faster modem. Obviously I opted for this plan. All my problems started. The old data plan was not cancelled (as she said over the phone). After phoning customer care they said I have to call cancellations to cancel the old plan, which I did in November last year. On the 1st December I unplugged the old device. In Jan and Feb I still received a big bill for the mentioned line. In March the lady (after about 2 hours on the phone) said the line is not cancelled and I put add-ons on the line. That is where the big bill is coming from. On the 21st March cancelations confirmed they closed the line and it will stop the 31st March. The guy, who was helping me with the cancelation, then asked me, why I don’t switch one of my phone contracts from “smart s” plan (my daughter is using this number). He offered me a deal that include 1GB data per month. The new plan will start the 1st April 2017.

1 April 2017 my daughter’s phone don’t have any data on and if I logon “my Vodacom” it shows the data line (that is confirmed it will stop the 31st March) is active. I’ve spend hours on the phone the 1st April 2017, without any success. The 3 April 2017, they “resolved’ my problem. My Daughter’s phone got data and airtime. It was around 17H00. Thanks. Unfortunately, my wife’s phone, don’t have any airtime or data on (Vodacom was not supposed to do anything with that line). At 21H00 I was still on the line with Vodacom. I even called them from another service provider to see if there is any response. The lady at customer care (If you can call it customer care) said I had cancel the number that my wife use during the day (3 April 2017). The DATA line is still ACTIVE (Please keep in mind this number was supposed to be cancelled in the middle of last year). They cancelled the WRONG number!!

The 4th April 2017 I went to East Gate mall’s Vodacom service centre (Now I am so desperate I take off from work to TRY and solve this problem). After one and a half hours waiting for a consultant, the consultant cannot help me. He phoned head office and give the phone to me, and I have to explain myself all over AGAIN. Security questions, which I know out of my head by now, and another hour on the phone.

Now, the 5th April 11H00, my wife’s phone is still inactive. If I login on My Vodacom, it still shows the DATA line is active.
