Frustration with Vodacom Customer Care and Accounts Department

I have been a loyal customer of Vodacom for 25 years and have had no problems until a few months ago. I phoned Vodacom to update my credit card details because I was issued with a new card. New details were given in September. End of October I get a message to say my account is in arrears as the credit card has expired. I again phoned and updated the card details. In November I tried to get the credit card details updated again and after struggling I asked them to change the debit order to come off my bank account rather. I was guaranteed there would be no problem end of November. Low and behold I get a message yesterday to say my account is in arrears. When I phoned Vodacom yesterday I was told the payment method is set to Cash. Really Vodacom I give up....I have spoken to so many people, even a manager.....I have recevied countless promises.....but guess what you can't get a simple process like this right. I don't know what is going on at Vodacom, but somewhere there is a huge problem. I am so frustrated and sad to say that if this doesn't get sorted out I will be moving my account to Cell C. Very frustrated and unhappy customer.
