Frustrated Vodacom Customer

As written and addressed to Vodacom on Facebook:

Vodacom, I am beyond frustrated with you as a service provider. I spent THREE HOURS on Friday, TWO HOURS on Saturday, ONE HOUR on Sunday, and TWO AND A HALF HOURS today trying to speak to someone. In addition to that, I selected the "Call Me Back Option" no less than 12 times between Friday morning and this afternoon, and I still haven't heard anything regarding the suspension of my line. I have been out of communication for FOUR FULL DAYS. I personally spend over R30 000.00 a year on your services, and this is the customer service I receive? Every time I contact the call centre, I'm told that "One Of The Red Crew Specialists Will Ensure I Receive Priority Service" - Vodacom, I would just like some sort of service, and I don't think I'm asking for a lot.

It takes a lot for me to moan about poor service, but I am truly disgusted at the lack of respect and total unprofessional disregard you have for your clients. I don't see why I have to keep chasing you and following up for a service I not only deserve, BUT PAY FOR! I have been a loyal customer for 17 years, and quite frankly, I'm embarrassed at the amount of people who are struggling with your approach to customers. I understand in the client service industry, it's near impossible to keep 100% of your clients happy 100% of the time, however as one of the largest Telecommunication Companies, who service over 55 million customers, I would expect a more professional experience.

I have tried to resolve this now for FOUR DAYS. I'm not interested in anyone contacting me to find out what the problem is. You have all the information above. I am happy to provide personal information via inbox message, but please do not get a consultant to contact me, as that will emphasize your poor quality of customer service, in only getting back to me after I have publicly put this message on your wall.

If my line is still not connected by 10:00 tomorrow morning, please consider this as my notice of termination (as per section 14 of The Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008).

I would also like written acknowledgement that I will not be charged for the four days that I have not been connected, and expect that the pro rata amount be deducted from my Red VIP subscription.

Wake up guys!
