FRUSTRATED - ****** MONEY
I have upgraded last year September 2017 at Vodacom Kollonade to a new contract. They told me with the upgrade I will still have to pay the old contract handset for two months wherafter I will only be billed for the new contract handset. With the upgrade I also wanted to change my cellphone number. They said I could not do it immediatly I must be at least on the new contract for a month wherafter I can change the number through migrating. So after a month(November 2017) I went back to the shop and done the migration to change the cellphone number. So January I checked by invoice and saw Vodacom is still charging me for the old contract phone as well as the new contract phone. I immediately started doing inquiries and tried to get them to cancel the old handset and refund me for the wrongly charged devise. From January until July I phoned weekly to try and sort this out without no success. This month I received my monthly statement and saw that they have removed the old handset but now they charge me for EQUIPMENT-BALANCE OF CONTRACT R5 789.55 excl tax, together with the new contract handset. My account is R7 417.79 this month!! I've been to Vodacom twice afterwords to sort out this mess without no success.
They owe me a Refund for the old contract handset for at least 7 months and NO Equipment balance should be charged it should be reversed because this handset was paid up last year already.
