Frustrated beyond belief

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the ongoing administrative failures regarding my fibre account.

Despite my previous attempts to resolve matters with Vodacom, I am once again being billed for an account that was settled and cancelled in December 2025.

1. Settlement of Arrears: Following an email on 18 December, I settled the November arrears in full and provided a Proof of Payment (POP).

2. Confirmed Cancellation: On 19 December, I spoke to your call centre and was assured a cancellation ticket was logged. This was subsequently confirmed in writing by your representative, Janine.

3. Systemic Failure: Today, 15 January, I received further correspondence claiming the account is in arrears.

Demands for Resolution: Given the recurring nature of service failures I have experienced with Vodacom, I am no longer prepared to tolerate these "system errors." I require the following within 48 hours:

1. Immediate Zeroing of the Balance: A full reversal of all charges app**** after the December cancellation date.

2. Formal Letter of Non-Indebtedness: Written confirmation that my account is closed, the balance is R0.00, and that no negative data has been (or will be) shared with Credit Bureaus.

3. Cease and Desist: An immediate halt to all automated collection emails and SMS notifications.

Notice of Escalation: Please be advised that this is my final attempt to resolve this internally. Should this not be rectified within the timeframe mentioned above, I will escalate this matter to ICASA and the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) without further notice to you, citing a pattern of unfair business practices and harassment which I have record of since my first complaint logged against Vodacom on multiple other issues.

I expect a response confirming these actions have been taken.
