From the Sublime to the Ridiculous

I have had a cellphone contract with Vodacom for 17 years now in the name of a CC of which I was the sole member until I deregistered the CC some years ago. I signed surety for the cellphone account aswell and have been paying the cell account from my personal account ever since the CC was deregistered. I then decided that I should change the account to my personal name as the CC no longer exists. I app**** to do this and was told that it had been declined because there is some outstanding bill on another cell account in another CC which I have no knowledge of. I have another Vodacom contract in my personal name which has been running for years now but these IDIOTS have decided in their wisdom that they will rather leave the account in a non existant company name and let me pay it every month anyway and hold me responsible in my personal capacity but not transfer the account into my personal name. Now am I missing something here seeing as I have an excellent credit rating or are we dealing with absolute *****s. What does Vodacom want me to do. Should I change the number to prepaid when my renewal dates comes up shortly or should I port the number to another network or are Vodacom going to transfer my account from ME to ME. Please tell me...Either way I dont really care anymore as your competition is dying to get my business.
