From Bad To Worse - Contract *******ly Extended And Not Being Resolved
If I could give a negative review i would do so. After 20+ years with Vodacom I never expected to receive such absolutely pathetic service. I had an issue with a contract that was renewed without my permission. Close to 2 years later when the contract is almost expiring I still do not have this resolved from Vodacom, all of my requests to be provided with the recording where I accepted their contract renewal has yet to be sent to me. Their ABSOLUTELY USELESS call centre now apparently run by Altron lies about resolving issues - I have been ignored, **** to and promised this complaint would be attended to but with no feedback. Their call centre has a policy that you cannot escalate a complaint to a manager UNLESS the supervisor / team-leader puts you through - in this case the matter is resting with a supervisor who promised to assist and now refuses to take my calls and reply to my mails - so you CANNOT get put through to the person who has to deal with you, and therefore cannot go through to the next level. The lie that is told is that the person you are speaking to does not have the manager's number/s or direct access to them - in this day and age in a telecommunications company????!!!! Stop the BS Vodacom. I was also told for a while that I did not need a ref number as the calls are recorded and would be available against my number to be reviewed, only to be told later that since I did not have a ref then the matter could not be looked into. This is my last attempt to resolve this with Vodacom hereafter I am considering e-mailing the Ombudsman and the Vodacom CEO and whoever else I can think of. The initial supervisor who I was dealing with was Louisa Baloyi who made no real effort to look into my query. Then I managed to get ahold of Philip Maluleke who did follow up with me and was extremely pleasant to deal with - but did not resolve anything and has failed to respond to my last few mails. I cc'd Christina Diosini on the last mail as Philip was apparently off sick ( which was only communicated around 15 min after I held on so is in itself extremely suspicious ) but received no response or courtesy call back. In general your call centre staff are at the least very short / insensitive with customers, and at worst they are rude in the way they speak. If this is the way you want to handle your clients then you are going to lose them, especially the older loyal clients like me who have had enough - guess what Vodacom, there are now plenty of service providers out there who are willing and able to provide a better service than what you are offering, I don't NEED to accept terrible service and lies to cover that up.
