From bad to worse

I would have thought taking my issue up with Vodacom customer care would assist but it has proven to be a waste of time. After receiving two phones that were not working and the unprofessional treatment from the Vodacom staff I decided to cancel the contract which is my right to do so. I notified Vodacom of this but instead it seems I was de*****ed because someone migrated me to an even more expensive package without my knowledge. R1800 was debited from my account and when I call customer I'm told the contract was never cancelled instead I have been moved to another package. Why should I pay for mistakes from *********** staff? How can it be difficult to process a simple request which is to cancel a contract?

I want Vodacom to resolve this or I am going to open a case of ***** against the consultant who opened the contract.

This is really stressing and unacceptable!!!

It seems we are going back and forth with Vodacom and I always receive assurances that my request to cancel the contract will be adhered to and its now three months since my 1st complaint and still no result. I will not pay for a contract I did not apply for and will be going ahead with opening the case against the person (consultant) who opened the contract. I'm also cancelling the Vodacom debit order because I will not be forced in to a situation where I have to beg them for my cash to be refunded. This is by far the worst service I have ever received from a service provider.
