\Free"Tablet promotion"""
On 13 May 2015 my 73 year old mother was contacted by Vodacom sales department offering her a free 3G Tablet. After repeatedly refusing the offer the sales lady insisted that there was no cost and no reason not to take the offer. My Mom and Dad discussed it and decided that they would be silly not to accept it. As I was assisting my parents with their finances I checked their Vodacom bill. They have been charged R149/mth for a contract on the Tablet. I contacted Vodacom on 09.09.2015 to lodge a query and reported a case of mis-represented sales. Despite numerous calls to the sales department ( ***) and leaving messages for Tebogo (Team Leader) to call me back, he has not responded. Vodacom is aware that their has been no usage on the contract and my parents are willing to give the tablet back in its original packaging and condition. PLEASE can someone help us to resolve this matter.
