Free Screen Repair = **** Advertising

To whom this may concern,

I took out a contract for myself and took out a second contract for my partner to use, when taking these two phones, we were told that we get A FREE SCREEN "insurance" to replace the screen if it is broken, which was music to my ears as I know my hubby can be a bit clumsy so if he dropped it the screen at least would be covered, but that was not the story...

My hubby dropped the phone we sent it in for repairs at Vodashop Brooklyn. (Where we initially took out the contracts)

Only to receive a phone call from Gwen from Vodasure to tell us sorry Vodacom does not replace Huawei & Iphone screens at all and that they will give us a refurbished phone and that we would have to pay R150.00 which we then agreed to paying, however that was not the case, I received a phone call back a few minutes later from Gwen stating that it was not R150.00 and that she made a mistake she gave me someone else quote, I would have to Pay R950.00 to get a "second hand phone" not my phone that I wanted a screen replaced but a refurbished phone, How does that work???

When I complained to her that I refuse to pay that when I was promised a free screen replacement she stated that she will speak to her manager and get her manager to call me back.

Nearly a week later and still no call back...

I called this morning once again, spoke to another gentleman he stated it was escalated...

He stated that they tried calling us on Saturday the 18th and Monday the 20th and even sent a sms which we did not get at all??? No missed calls or message showing on neither my hubby nor my phone???

The gentleman said he would escalate it further again, so now we wait...

I want my phone to be repaired with my free screen insurance that was promised to me.
