Free Gift Card + FREE Phone - YEAH RIGHT!

On 21 Jan 15 I got a call that was to change my perception of Vodacom altogether. An agent named Sipho called first my daughter, then my boyfriend, they both gave him my number: Later that day Sipho calls me tells me that I have been selected for a R560 gift voucher from HomeChoice & a FREE Samsung phone loaded with R200.00 & then from the end of Feb I would have to pay R199 as it becomes a contract. I was a bit hesitant but then I thought why not. So I agreed . He then told me that this would ALL be delivered on Mon 24th Jan 15, since I had not received anything by yesterday, 29 Jan 15, I decided to call Vodacom & to my embarrassment I was told that it had been declined!!!! Now: I did not call them to arrange for a new contract. They called me to give me this \FREE gift card & FREE phone! Why gift someone a gift card & FREE phone & then tell them it becomes a contract
