**********ly cancelled contract

I am an existing contract holder, which was renewed March 2017. On the 10th of June 2017, I received an sms from Vodacom, quoting a number and stating that a purchase had been processed. On the same day, all my data and airtime dissapeared. When I enquired about the purchase and the data and airtime, as I had not placed any order, I was told to visit the nearest Vodashop. I went to the Vodashop on the 11th of June 2017, where I was told that there was a glitch on their system and my data should be restored by the 13th of June 2017. This did not happen. On the 18th of June 2017, after my data and airtime was still not restored, I went to the Vodashop again to try and find out what the status is. We were then told that my contract had been cancelled via a call-centre and that the sim-card is now pre-paid. I did, however, not cancel the conract, nor did I aprove any cancellation fees. A cancellation fee in excess of R5 000 was added to my bill. AT our insistence, we spoke to the manager of the Vodashop, who informed us that she had sent an E-mail to Vodacom head office, to restore the contract. According to her, it would take about two days. It was still not restored. On the 22nd of June 2017, I once again enquired when the contract will be restored, and was told that they could not tell. We enquired again on the 24th of June 2017, and was told that they still could not do anything. On the 27th of June 2017, a Vodacom reresentative phoned me, stating that the contract should be restored within two days. It still did not happen. On the 29th of June 2017, I visited the Vodashop again, and was told by the manager that, due to the fact that all transactions where done via India, it could take even longer to restore my contract. On the 30th of June 2017, at 09:30AM, I received an sms from Vodacom, stating that my contract was being processed. About an hour later, y sim card was switched off and subsequently I could not use my cell phone, except for emergency calls. This means that I cannot be contacted by anyone, neither can I access my home, as the gate works through my cell phone. Note that it has now been more that three weeks that I have been without data or airtime, and Vodacom has not offered any assistence. This is unacceptable and amounts to ***** that Vodacom can just end my contract without my permission.

Best regards,
Went to Vodaworld on the 3rd of July 2017, problem was sorted out within half an hour. I am still disappointed that the local branch did not know how to handle the problem, but very impressed with the service received at Vodaworld.
