********** Vodacom Live! charges on prepaid account

I am a prepaid airtime user on Vodacom. I noticed in the last 3 months that my airtime would run out very quickly. I drew an itemized bill and found to my shock and horror that every day R10 would be deducted for "Content - Vodafone Live!". I *never* subscribed to a service like this (I don't subscribe to services at all). On further investigation, logging into the Vodafone Live website at http://live.vodacom.co.za/vlive/myaccount/transactions I could see that a daily charge of R10 was deducted for "p-squarem-games-c-01". Initially the website didn't show any subscriptions against my phone number, also, the *111# service also showed "No subscriptions". After a number of refreshes on the website I was able to cancel this service.

This is ********** activity by Vodacom! I have seen many similar complaints by other users, so I guess I'm just another one in the list of thousands. Vodacom is *****ing your money people, please be on the watch out for this. No longer is it just WASP services that are **********ly attached to your phone number, now Vodacom Live! or whatever the hell this nonsense is, is also **********ly being charged.

I intend to follow this up with Vodacom, but I'm pretty sure I will get nowhere with this useless company.

A Vodacom representative contacted me on the same day I complained and refunded me the airtime that I lost. Thank you Vodacom! This is the type of service we expect! Although, this should never have happened in the first place, so I hope you launch an inquiry into this, since I'm not the only person this has affected.
