********** Vodacom insurance

I have been a vodacom subscriber all my life and never planned to leave. I have been paying my insurance and vodacom bills on time every month. Vodacom has never had to chase me for money. As it stands i even have a credit on my account. I have had an airtime top up contract all my life and last year took out a second data sim. I alternate between my two sims as vodacom blocks the dual sim functionality of the P20 Lite. On the night my phone was ****** i unfortunately had the data sim in my phone. Apparently its not the PHONE which is insured , its the SIM. And when i took out my PHONE insurance i only had the airtime sim and not the data at the time. Vodacom refuses to pay out my claim now because the airtime sim could not be detected in my phone. This is a silly clause in their insurance as wouldnt a ***** remove the sim? Not like they care but vodacom has now lost a lifelong subscriber. They cannot be trusted and i wouldnt want this to happen to anyone else so thought i would post this as a warning. They are Sharks.
