********** Upgrades

On the 14th of February 2018 I called the upgrade department to upgrade my contract. I already have a device so just wanted to update the bundles. The 'consultant' on the phone offered me a deal of 50 minutes per month as well as 1GB of data per month. He told me this was going to cost me R79 per month. At 15h47 on the 14th of February I received an sms to say my quotation has been processed ref: 1- ********** ********** . I was told to use the order number 1- ********** ********** .

When I went onto the app on the 28th of February I saw that I had been upgraded to a contract where I get R110 per month!!! THIS IS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR!!! I called the call center to report this. I explained what happened she said she would log a query and they would have to listen to the call I made. I got an sms on the 28th of February to say that my query has been escalated. Ref number: 1- ********** ********** . She said it could take a week so I left it, stupidly thinking I would receive feedback!

On the 6th of March I received an sms to tell me I was due for an upgrade. The same day I received and sms to say I had upgraded to a MyMeg 500, 24 months top up. Again...NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR!!! I did not even ask for the upgrade this time!!! The same day I also received an sms to say my query had been closed. Not one call from vodacom!!!
