********** Upgrade

End of January 2017 a sim swap was done on my Vodacom contract line accompanied with an upgrade done on my data contract line (082 *** ***x) without my concern. Furthermore an iPhone was ordered online using my personal information. I contacted Vodacom customer care and the online order was stopped. I reported the ********** activities to Vodacom (reference numbers: 1- ********** ********** ; 1- ********** ********** and 1- ********** ********** ). I was informed that the ***** investigation division will contact me within 7 or 14 days but to no avail. I have been following up with Vodacom but not getting any luck. As if this was not enough again another transaction was actioned on my Vodacom account this time an handset was purchased in February 2017. They deduct the money every month from my bank account. I did two affidavits for both incidents at the Ferndale Police Station, Randburg. Send all the documents to Vodacom customer care via ********** and ********** I did provided all the required documents to Vodacom as requested but nothing is coming forth. I had asked Vodacom Customer Care to check which branch the handset was purchased from and compared the FICA documents used and even the signature for verification. In return they said that they can pick up that there was ***** committed and said that it will take 7/14 working days to resolve the issue which did not happen. The 7/14 day period has lapsed way back but I did not receive a call neither an email from them.

I have been phoning Vodacom Customer Care number, several times but to no joy. Money is continuously being deducting from my account monthly. My dilemma is if I block the deduction, this will affect my ITC credit ratings, which have a detriment impact on my credit status on other aspect of life that require clean credit clearance standing.

Vodacom fruad divsion is useless and the customer care when you call them they tell you different stories each time and promise yoou that they investigating team will contact you either by email or call but YEP! thus the end, you will never hear from them. What a pathetic encounter, with Vodacom Services.
