********** UPGRADE

I had a data contract with Vodacom that came with a small Wi-Fi router. It was pretty cheap at about R79pm for 1GIG of data every month. To my surprise all of a sudden, my invoice read that i owed them R199pm because i have don an upgrade and have now received a new handset (Huawei P8 Lite). When i tried to backtrack andd see when my statement changed, it was in September 2016.

I DID NOT DO AN UPGRADE!

Therefore, i have effectively been paying for a phone that i do not have in my possession. When i phone Vodacom to query this, they ask me to fix it by sending proof that i have not inddeed done an upgarde (Affidavits, ID copies etc.) I asked them to sent me a copy of those forms that i filled in and signed, they sent me forrms that are unsigned.

So they have the nerve to use my personal information, to creatye contracts and upgrades and expect me to pay for it when they dont even have my signature? I'm extremely angry to say the least because they cannot investigate on their side if i dont produce an affidavit??? That is utter nonsense to me because the fact that those upgrade forms are not signed is a trigger already! I have been with Vodacom for almost 10 years, using the same number. I'm a loyal customer who pays their account on time and never gives them hassles and this is how they repay me?

I'm very disappointed and angry to say the least!
