********** Upgrade

Good Afternoon. On Friday, 13 March 2019 I was contacted telephonically by a person pretending to be a sales consultant from Vodacom where he offered me an upgrade. Subsequently I refused it as my mother had taken the contract on my behalf and I explained that I am not interested in upgrading and that I was not authorised to agree to anything. The guy then said okay and the phone was hung up. Immediately I received a SMS stating that upgraded cell phone is on it's way. I then contacted Vodacom to enquire and was told that an upgrade was done online and that address to which it is linked to is not my physical address. I then logged a query stating that a ********** upgrade was linked to my account. A few days later I received another SMS stating that the upgraded cellphone was delivered. I am disgusted that there are no controls in place to mitigate this risk and in the meantime I will be incurring the cost. Please assist urgently!
