My Vodacom cellphone number has been **********ly upgraded and a sim swap performed on my simcard sometime this month. I don't know and I fail to understand how it was made so easy without necessary security checks. So vodacom has made it so easy for ******** to just '*****' your number, get a device and have you pay for it just like that. I really hope this gets sorted out soon and I get my number back and refunded, I have been with vodacom for years and every time I want to do a sim swap I get asked security questions and when I want to upgrade they require documents like an ID and proof of residents, what happened this time? Now I'm without a cellphone number and paying for something that I don't know... :(
