********** Upgrade

I received a call from Brian from "Vodacom Newtown Junction Head Office" regarding my upgrade. I told the guy I don't want to upgrade and wish to cancel the contract when it is due in October. He then advised he was processing the cancellation and sent an OTP to my number which he requested me to verify. I did as requested and was informed my contract was canceled. After soeaking to this Brian character I went to check the SMS again only to find that 'A Vodacom employee will never request you to verify the pin". That's when I called the Call Center and spoke to Molepo from your Customers Service Department who advised that this could've been a ********** call as there's only one heafd office in Midrand and no employee has acessed my profile prior to her. Molepo then transferred me to the Cancellations Department to process the cancellation which was supposed to be done by Brian whom actually processed an upgrade order on my behalf which I never requested. Latisa, from the Cancellations Department assisted witj processing the cancellation of which I'm to receive confirmation of in 24 hours.

My question to Vodacom is how does these ******** have access to your customer list and can access our profiles online and place upgrade orders on our behalf? How does this happen?? I'm not about to pay for a device I never requested so I'm hoping for the maintenance of this client to customer relationship that the order is cancelled before the device reaches "Brian."
