********** unauthorized sim swap after R300 payment was taken by vodacom

So I try to buy prepaid water on the My Vodacom app and after the payment it says error loading screen, never received the water code, it doesn't show up on recent purchases either. I phone customer care and I provide them with the details they asked for to start the refund process. The following morning I wake up with an unregistered sim and my cousin informing me that she received a whatsapp message from me asking for money, I went to a vodacom shop where the employee informed me that there was a sim swap done on my number. Took me hours of waiting to finally get MY OWN NUMBER BACK. I was never notified of a sim swap as they state on the sim swap process. I inform them of my situation and guess what, they want me to waste more money to go back to a shop as they couldn't verify me, I mean hell I wasted so much effort telling them all my recharge dates, what phones I've used this sim in, they keep asking for an address on the invoice for the contract after I've told them it's a prepaid sim. I have the bank statement as well. In short vodacom stole R300 from me, their customer care used my details to do an unauthorized sim swap, **********ly impersonate me asking all my contacts to eft money to them. You cannot even trust their staff to handle your information. All of this after I've been a client of them for nearly 10 years. That's a slap in the face !
